As well as the temperature, the summer redfishing for larger reds has heated up. If conditions remain stable, anglers are getting numerous shots at schools of redfish. Some days they are more forgiving then others, but persistance usually pays off. The fishing for the larger redfish is only going to get better. Soon instead of bait, they will be keyed up on top water plugs and other artificials. Nothing is more exciting then seeing a 20 lb redfish trying to eat a top water plug.
